Program Outcomes (POs):
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication has developed and maintained a well-defined set of desired Program Outcomes. Outcomes of the Program cater to the requirements of the stakeholders such as Students, Parents, Employers, Alumni and Teachers. The Program Outcomes are as follows:
After successful completion of the program,
PO1: Design/ Development of Solutions: Motivate graduates to become good human beings and responsible citizens. Provide sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Electronics and Telecommunication, Managerial and Entrepreneurial skills to enable students to contribute to the needs of the society with a global outlook.
PO2: Conduct investigations of challenging problems: Provide graduates with a strong foundation in mathematics, Engineering and Technology fundamentals to enable them to devise and deliver efficient solutions to challenging problems in Electronics, Communications and allied disciplines.
PO3: Problem Analysis: Impart analytic and thinking skills to develop initiatives and innovative ideas for R&D, Industry and societal requirements.
PO4: Communication and Ethics: Inculcate effective communication skills, team work, ethics and moral behavior to acquire and exercise excellent leadership qualities in multidisciplinary environments.
PO5: Modern Tool Usage: Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern Engineering and IT tools and able to design and develop interdisciplinary and innovative systems
Program Specific Outcomes (PSO's):
At the end of the program, the student should be able to:
PSO1: Demonstrate the technical competency and use appropriate techniques in the realization of Advanced Communication Systems.
PSO2: Understand clearly the concepts and applications in the field of Communication/Networking, Signal Processing, Embedded Systems and Semiconductor Technology.
PSO3. Associate the learning from the courses related to Signal Processing, Computer Networks, Embedded and Communication Systems to arrive at solutions to real world problems.
PSO4. Have the capability to comprehend the technological advancements in the usage of modern design tools to analyze and design subsystems/processes for a variety of applications.
PSO5. Posses the skills to communicate in both oral and written forms, the work already done and the future plans with necessary road maps, demonstrating the practice of professional ethics and the concerns for societal and environmental wellbeing.
